We offer 7 grape varieties with the largest fruits that can be successfully grown in most of the country. The proposed varieties are typically dessert grapes. They have very sweet, juicy fruits. They are among the most attractive dessert varieties grown in Poland. We offer six grape varieties with the largest fruits that can be successfully grown in most of the country. Only in the coldest parts of Poland, such as Suwałki Region or Podhale, is it recommended to cover these vines every winter. These varieties can be grown throughout the country, they do not require any special care or protection for winter or spraying.
Below is a description of the grape varieties included in the set:
ARKADIA is a grape with very large, slightly oval, light yellow fruits, where the clusters can reach over 1.5 kg. Its greatest advantage is its sensational taste. The berries have a very sweet, fresh, juicy aftertaste. Considered by most experts to be the tastiest grape grown in Poland. The yield of the bushes is very high – thinning of the buds is recommended. The clusters are large and very large, medium-dense. The berries are large with an original, egg-shaped shape, light yellow in color, very tasty. The clusters are large, conical, medium-dense, less often loose. The berries are large, oval, golden when fully ripe with a light brown blush.
BIEŁYJ KOKŁ – a dessert variety with an early ripening time. In Polish conditions, in field cultivation, it should ripen around September 5-15. The bushes are medium-sized. The clusters are medium to large, conical, with medium density, weight 400-600. The berries are very large 33.5 x 23.6 mm, average weight 12-14 g, oval, rarely ovate-warty, white, translucent in the sun with a tan. The taste is harmonious, the flesh is juicy, compact, medium-thick skin.
RUMBA – a very early dessert variety, with intensive growth. It can reach up to 6 m of annual growth. The clusters are large to very large, the berries are large, warted or in the shape of a pacifier, pink. The size of the clusters: 800-1500 g. The flesh is juicy, crunchy with a slightly nutmeg flavor. The berries begin to accumulate sucrose long before they fully color, which is why even when not fully ripe, they are sweet. Susceptibility to diseases: increased resistance to fungal diseases. Frost resistance: -25 °С
DOŁGOŻDANYJ – a sensational grape variety grown in Poland for several years. A dessert variety originating in Russia is characterized by very large and sweet fruit and at the same time relatively high frost resistance.
Its advantages include primarily: Very large and tasty fruit, with almost imperceptible seeds, very early ripening time and good resistance.
Frost resistance: -23 °C
CHARLIE – a very promising variety with very large sweet navy blue fruits. Sensational very sweet aftertaste and very small seeds almost imperceptible. In Poland, it is not yet a very well-known grape. Our vineyard grows it as one of the first in the country. Frost resistance up to -24 ° C and also disease resistance – increased. Loosely compact clusters, very large sometimes can be up to 1 kg. Very large berries, slightly elliptical, thin skin
WHITE SEEDLESS – this is a very good seedless variety, with large light green fruits. Early ripening time, i.e. end of August, beginning of September. It has high frost resistance up to -25C.
KORDIANKA – a dessert decorative large-fruit variety of Russian origin. It is a variety with a medium early ripening time and large dark fruits. Conical clusters, medium tight, very large. The mass of the clusters ranges from 600-900g. The flesh is tight, crunchy and juicy with a delicate, harmonious taste. The growth of the bush is very strong. High frost resistance, as much as -30C
ORION is a grape with very large dark pink fruits, where the clusters can reach over 1.3 kg. Very tasty, harmonious aftertaste. Very attractive, early variety with very large clusters. Very large, spreading clusters, often with a side wing, rather loose. Medium-firm, juicy flesh with a muscat aroma – very tasty. The bush grows healthily and strongly and lignifies very well. High resistance to diseases and frost -23C.
