Description
Eden Vineyard offers a set of 6 processing grapes for home vineyards. We offer six excellent processing varieties for the production of very good quality wines and juices. The proposed varieties are typically dessert and processing. They have very sweet juicy fruit. They are among the most attractive processing varieties grown in Poland. These varieties can be grown throughout the country, they do not require any special care or protection for winter or spraying.
Below is a description of the grape varieties included in the set:
Solaris – a processing variety with light fruit for the production of white wine. The important properties of Solaris include resistance to fungal diseases. The leaves are large, three-part and dark green. The fruit is medium-sized. The clusters are medium-sized, cylindrical-conical. Early variety. The plant shoots, blooms and ripens about a week earlier than other varieties on average. An important property of the plant is its frost resistance. Solaris is not demanding when it comes to location. Fully ripe fruit has an amber-yellow color.
Muskat Odesskij is a Ukrainian grape variety, intended for the production of high-quality white table wines, characterized by high pulp yield. The clusters of this variety are small to medium, branched, rather loose. Berries are small or medium-sized, spherical, yellow in color. Frost resistance up to -25C
Salome – a variety also known online as Sirame was produced in Switzerland. It appeared in Poland only a few years ago and is still very little known, although it seems that it is doing great in our country. Frost resistance: -24 ° C. Fruit color is navy blue.
Rondo – this plant is characterized by average growth strength, but its harvest will be regular and abundant. The clusters themselves will be moderately large, branched and usually loose, and the berries will be small and spherical. Their skin will attract attention, however – intensely navy blue and covered with a waxy coating. The flesh will be only slightly pink, which indicates that most of the dye is located just under the skin.
Foch Marshael – a processing variety for red wines, possible to grow (without covering for winter) throughout the country, even in areas with an unfavorable climate for other varieties. Resistant to typical grapevine diseases. The bush grows strongly, on fertile soils very strongly. It yields reliably and regularly. Leaves of medium size to large, with three lobes, coarsely serrated. Clusters: small 70-100g cylindrical or cylindrical-conical. Berries: round, small 1.12g, navy-black, often coloring already in early September Flesh: juicy, easily separated from the skin, with a staining red color, more intense in late harvest.
Seyval Blanc – this is a very attractive processing variety for the production of high-quality wines. A very productive variety, requiring regulation of fruiting because on overloaded bushes the fruit is of lower quality, and the willow does not lignify well. The growth of bushes is medium strong, and on poor and dry soils weak. It prefers fertile soils on which it produces high-quality fruit. This is a variety with high resistance to frost, and complete resistance to fungal diseases – it can be grown without chemical protection. Wines made from it are characterized by refreshing freshness with an aroma of citrus fruits and kiwi
