We offer 5 grape varieties with the largest fruits that can be successfully grown in most of the country. The varieties offered are typically dessert grapes. They have very sweet, large, juicy fruits. They are among the most attractive dessert varieties grown in Poland. We offer five grape varieties with the largest fruits that can be successfully grown in most of the country. Only in the coldest parts of Poland, such as Suwałki Region or Podhale, is it recommended to cover these vines every winter. These varieties can be grown throughout the country, they do not require any special care or protection for winter or spraying.
Below is a description of the grape varieties included in the set:
BAJKONUR – a sensational dark variety with very attractive fruits originating from Russia. Long, loose conical and cylindrical clusters with side wings, with an average weight of about 1 kg. It has very attractive dark purple, elongated berries, which often turn almost black and have a curved shape in the form of a bean. The flesh is dense, crunchy with a pleasant, harmonious taste. Frost resistance at -23C
ARKADIA is a grape with very large, slightly oval, light yellow fruit, where the clusters can reach over 1.5 kg. Its greatest advantage is its sensational taste. The berries have a very sweet, fresh, juicy aftertaste. Considered by most experts to be the tastiest grape grown in Poland. The yield of the bushes is very high – thinning of the buds is recommended. The clusters are large and very large, medium-compact. Large berries with an original, egg-shaped shape, light yellow in color, very tasty. Clusters: large, conical, medium-compact, less often loose. Berries: large, oval, golden when fully ripe with a light brown blush. Flesh: crispy, colorless. Ripening: early, turn of August and September. To achieve such attractive fruit, it is very good to plant this vine in a well-sunlit place. Then the ripe fruit will be able to gain full value.
NADIEZHDA AZOS – a sensational large-fruit dessert variety with nice clusters and tasty dark fruit. Clusters – large 700-1500g Berries – slightly elongated. Ripening – medium early, end of September. The bush grows medium strongly and lignifies very well. High resistance to diseases and frost resistance to -22C.
JUBILEJ NOWOCZERKASSKIJ – a very valuable dessert variety with large, elongated fruit gathered in very large clusters. The fruit ripens in the first half of September, initially yellow with a pink blush, over time changing color to pink. Exceptionally tasty fruit, appreciated by many connoisseurs. It is not susceptible to fungal diseases. Frost resistance -23C
KISZMISZ VELLES – a sensational seedless variety from Ukraine with extremely tasty pink fruit. The bunches can reach up to 3kg!. Nutmeg flavor, juicy. Ripens very early, already at the end of August. Cultivated in Poland for only a few years, but so far it has performed very well, is reliable and fruitful. The largest of the seedless varieties with a red color grown in our vineyard. Frost resistance up to -21C
